Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 6, 2026
Overview
Morse Code ("the App") is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
Data Collection
We do not collect any data. Specifically:
- No personal information is collected or stored
- No usage analytics or tracking is implemented
- No data is transmitted to any server or third party
- No account or registration is required
Camera Access
The App requests camera access solely to detect light signals for Morse code decoding. Camera frames are processed entirely on-device in real time and are never recorded, stored, or transmitted. Only brightness values are extracted from the camera feed — no images or video are captured.
Flashlight & Screen
The App uses your device's flashlight and screen brightness to transmit Morse code signals. This functionality operates entirely locally on your device.
Audio Access
When using the audio channel, the App accesses your device's microphone and speaker to send and receive Morse code via audio tones. Audio is processed in real time on-device and is never recorded or stored.
Local Storage
Any settings or preferences you configure (such as speed presets or theme) are stored locally on your device and are not accessible to us or any third party.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App works fully offline with no internet connection required.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any data from any users, including children under 13. Since no data is collected, no special provisions are needed.
